Job Description
The Chief Financial Officer will be a key member of the leadership team, responsible for steering the financial, strategic, and operational health of the organisation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and business unit performance management
- Strengthening financial governance, compliance, audit, and internal control frameworks
- Driving strategic financial planning related to expansion, unit economics, product profitability, and operational efficiency
- Managing investor relations, board interactions, and preparation for future fundraising or liquidity events
- Overseeing capital allocation, cash flow management, and long‑term sustainability planning
- Implementing scalable systems, processes, and automation entering its next growth phase
- Supporting M&A, partnerships, market-entry assessment, and evaluation of inorganic growth opportunities
- Building, leading, and mentoring high-performing finance, legal, and compliance teams
The Successful Applicant
- CA is mandatory for this role | First attempt will be a plus
- 15+ years of extensive finance experience, in high growth start-up
- Have covered the 0-1 journey in his/her career and can work with lean teams
- Prior IPO experience will be a plus for the position
- Prior experience in working in a multi-county operations role.
- Proven capability in fundraising, investor communication, and engagement with boards and institutional investors
- Experience implementing scalable financial systems and driving organisation-wide financial discipline
